"...As the clinic progressed, it became very clear that my flaws follow me at all levels. One that stood out was being what Lendon calls a "preparation queen". Yes, my horses are obedient, but it just takes too long from the moment that I decide to do something to when it actually happens. My feeling is that I avoid confontation and make it comfortable  for myself by trying to make everything perfect before I attempt the exercise. A good example of that is taking half a diagonal before doing a change..."
